Celeste
The object of Celeste is to climb a mountain by jumping and airdashing around different hazards and enemies. It's branded as a pixel-perfect platformer built for hardcore audiences, but the challanges are really quite measured when you consider the copius amount of checkpoints and additional assists like slowdown and infinite stamina.
The controls didn't vibe with me, so I changed GRAB to L and dash to R and everything immediately fell into place. I don't understand why the default controls would have you splitting your thumb between jump and grab, so feel free to enlighten us about your control scheme.
The levels are pretty lengthy. It took me between 30 minutes and an hour to finished each mountain the first time. I'm sure speedrunners could finished a run in less than a tenth of that. And there's lots of collectables such as strawberries, hearts, and B-Side cassettes that unlock extra stages and remixed beats. Score!
