I was digging through the Steam database looking for something weird with good music and I came across Jalopy. I listened to a couple tracks on Bandcamp and it reminded me of Kraftwerk so I bought the soundtrack. Oh and I got the game as well.

The concept is great. You have to drive your uncle across Europe in a lousy car that constantly needs repairs. It rides like ass and you need to scrape together money by looting crates and abandoned vehicles or smuggling contraband through checkpoints. Think Oregon Trail meets Driving Miss Daisy.

Some of the execution could use a little fine tuning. Save points are limited to staying at hotels and juggling items is a pain in the ass. Who the hell keeps their wallet in the glove compartment anyway? Were pants forbidden to have pockets under the Iron Curtain?
