Geometry Wars 3 has been sitting on my PS4 hard drive since its inception, and that's because it's easy to jump into and doesn't require a great deal of commitment, but still packs a considerable challenge when you get down and dirty with it.

I would never kill someone in real life, but in Geometry Wars sure why not. I always hated octahedrons and cubes and ninja stars. Whenever I'm feeling lousy I know I can pick up a twinstick and begin shooting and dodging my way through geospatial bullet hell. And if any of you are still considering using the mouse and keyboard you're out of your element.

The DJ-friendly beats pushed me to memorialize this awesome experience even though it's been out for over half a decade now. Respects to Chris Mann-- go check out his work.
