What Remains of Edith Finch
I usually don't care for walking simulators but Edith Finch had just enough actual gameplay to keep me engaged until the very end.
The narrative is broken up into different stories about each family member's demise. It's pretty sad and depressing, but looking around the house at all the handcrafted and unique assets (stuff) is what keeps the experience worthy of your attention. The top notch voice acting and music are very absorbing and never feel forced or out of place.
Edith Finch isn't particularly difficult or long, but it's possible to replay the storylines after completion where you may uncover more secrets about the characters' lives. If you liked Edith Finch, try The Unfinished Swan if you haven't already.
