conan exiles
There are games I could play indefinately if I had to. Forever I mean. Until the day I die and long after when I am uploaded to a simulation that playtests games to fund its consciousness. These include Dark Souls II, GTA V, and Conan Exiles.
The premise is simple: survive and flourish. You start by having to find water and food, then you move on to gathering resources and crafting tools. Before you know it, you're capturing slaves to help you hunt and constructing a small town. The map in Conan Exiles is immense and handcrafted with incredible detail at the finest levels that it gives a sense of how small you are and how much you've accomplished. It also helps to having an intense and emotional soundtrack kick in right on timing.
Conan Exiles is such an incredible experience I have to force myself to not play it, or else I wouldn't be able to continue seeking out the best in gaming music. I also need to consider that the game is 80 gigs+ cuz of updates and stuff. But it's totally worth it.
