The Flame in the Flood

The Flame in the Flood reminds me of The Amazon Trail, which was sort of like The Oregon Trail except you navigated a river instead. And now everyone is dead and it's time for a hardcore survivor crafting adventure.

The rapids are really fast and crashing is unavoidable sometimes. There are many ways to die like hunger, thirst, wolves, poison, and you'll succumb to exposure if you don't craft some clothes and supplies. It's all a piss in the dark during your first several expeditions and I appreciate the no-hand holding experience.

I read some paid reviews that bitched about menu navigation. I played F/F on Switch and didn't experience any inventory frustration-- and I never forget to include interface issues in my reports. Maybe it's been patched or streamlined since launch. Who cares. Point is, if you like Oregon Trail meets rivers and survivor then grab The Flood in the Flame.
