Seraph

I took a break from gaming this summer only to be sucked back in by Dead Cells, a roguelike platformer with RPG elements. Then I remembered I still have Seraph on the back burner, so I went ahead and finished collecting footage for the megamix.

The upgrade system and combat is intriguing, but I had trouble distinguishing between background and foreground, so objects like door terminals and fixtures are hard to see. It makes for a bit of a clunky experience especially when you're trying to find a locker or open a door. And unlocking the auto lock-on is a bit weird. Then there's the camera.

With all that said, if you played Dead Cells to death and want something similar, Seraph isn't a bad choice. Maybe it's better with a higher contrast ratio.
