Dicey Dungeons

Dicey Dungeons was on my radar since I first heard the amazing soundtrack by Chipzel, but I hesitated to pick it up because I wasn't sure how fun it would it be. The screenshots and gameplay videos don't do this game a justice-- you really need to load up Dicey Dungeons to appreciate how remarkable it is.

Each character is a different style of gameplay entirely, and they are introduced in a smooth and gradually manner than neither holds your hand or overwhelms your mindorgan. There's hundreds of unique cards that are swapped in and out and used in different ways depending on the game mode, and are presented in nice bite-sized dungeons that last about 15 - 20 minutes each. 36 in total.

So here I am with only 4 dungeons left to go and I can highly recommend that if you like dice or deck building games Dicey Dungeons is for you. If this sounds like something you might find boring I would still recommend you give DD a try if the opportunity arises. Dicey Dungeons plays with your mind in ways that pictures, videos, and word cannot describe, but at least I tried.
