F1 2017

F1 2017 was the last year of open cockpits and the last time I bought an F1 game on release day. It has a ton a new features that were missing from previous years including comprehensive practice programs, a fleshed out career, and dozens of championship varatiant with classic cars.

I wound up doing about 2 and half full seasons with 25% race distance had a great time doing it. There are even a few Let's Plays floating around that I'm incredibly happy with because you know damn well these games are tough to play and comment on at the same time, not to mention I'm using a pad and not a wheel. For those of you late to the party F1 games are balls hard and reward patience, dedication, concentration, and forethought.

I really felt like I was part of the sport with F1 2017. How will F1 2018 turn out with its new "halo" design that covers the cockpit? And will Codemasters be able to add enough features to keep things interesting? Let's find out...
