Pac Man Championship Edition 2

Pac Man Championship Edition 2 got some piss poor reviews because it had a tutorial that you couldn't skip.

The gameplay in Pac-Man CE2 is brilliant and better suited for newcomers to the genre at the same time providing retro-hard arcade veterans a challenge in optimization, memorization, eye-hand coordination, and reaction time. The object is to collect enough dots so that a fruit (or thing) appears in the center, once eaten, radically changes the maze. Each stage has a dozen or something mazes. The fun lies in replaying the levels and finding the optimal pattern. Lazy? Check out the high scores through online leaderboards to guide you along your journey.

It's great for casuals because it's hard to die. Or lose. Or lose a man. Or whatever silly nomenclature for failing you're used to. Hardcore gamers need not worry because it's a high score game. And the high scores have been improving with different paths/methods/strategies being discovered regularly. There's a lot of fun and replay to be had with Pac Man Championship Edition 2. And now it's available on the Nintendo Switch with a 2-player mode. Score!
